About this Program
Carbon Literacy for Organisations is an important step on your organisation or team's journey towards a low-carbon future. This course offers a learning experience tailored to the needs of organisations via 8 hours of training: 2 hours pre-work (self-directed, online); and 6 hours live workshops (2 half-days). These online modules were designed as part of the ThinkZero Carbon Literacy program. The aim is to bring people from different business functions together, to arrive at a common baseline understanding of sustainability, carbon and climate change, and the circular economy. This course is delivered with the aim to empower action on sustainability issues by organisations. We will cover: sustainability principles, frameworks, and actions; net zero, carbon neutral and carbon pricing and markets; and a comparison of the basic elements of linear versus circular economies. Course activities include the globally focused net zero simulator by MIT.
